Your Support Helps Preserve Centre County's History

Thank you to all who contributed to the Centre County Historical Society during the 2026 Centre Gives Campaign! Thanks to the generosity of 157 donors, we raised $18,160 providing critical support for the Society’s day to day operations and mission activities at the Centre Furnace Mansion and Boogersburg School.

We are grateful for every gift. Your philanthropy sustains the programs that connect our community to its shared heritage; supports the publication of our Mansion Notes quarterly journal and online Centre County Encyclopedia of History & Culture; and preserves county history through archival collections, and strengthens our ongoing advocacy for historic resources throughout Centre County.

Since 2012 when Centre Gives began, it has benefited more than 230 local charities throughout the county, enhancing services across many interest areas – arts and culture, animals, education, historic sites, environment, and health & social services. We are honored to be a part of this incredible tradition and extend our sincere thanks to Centre Foundation, The Hamer Foundation, Scholar Hotel and all of the businesses that support Centre Gives.
