The Centre County Historical Society is happy to assist with questions about Centre County's people, places, organizations, events, and history.
To help our staff make the best use of their time, please provide as much information as possible when submitting what you hope to learn, along with any names, dates, locations, or other details that may help guide the search. We also appreciate knowing which sources you have already consulted, such as Ancestry, Newspapers.com, local histories, census records, or other archival collections.
A donation of $20 (CCHS members) or $25 (non-members) is suggested to help support CCHS's ongoiong work to preserve, document, and make Centre County history accessible to the public.
Please note that while our staff will make every reasonable effort to assist, we cannot guarantee that our collections will contain the information requested.
